Iguana Death Cult New Album ‘Guns Out’, OUT NOW!

Today, Rotterdam’s Iguana Death Cult return their fourth long player, Guns Out, released via Greenway Records.

Guns Out marks a return to punchy garage rock and features honest self-reflection, addressing escapism, mental strain, and creative renewal. The result channels their early punk and garage roots, powered by Tobias Opschoor’s razorsharp riffs, Uri Rennert’s (Häxxan and Brian Jonestown Massacre) relentless drumming, Jimmy de Kok’s groovy rhythms and Jeroen Reek’s raw, emotive vocals.

On the albums first single ‘I Like It’, the band explains, “this song is either a critique of consumerism fed by malevolent tactics of greedy corporations, social media trickery and the overall existential dread of late stage capitalism. A salacious confession of fleshly desires that will get you into the groove or a silly song about a British baking show. But we’ll leave that to the ear of the beholder.

Iguana Death Cult is a band who have made quite the miles in the last decade. Started as a group of young friends in 2014 wanting to make rock ‘n roll, the band has risen to great heights including touring with OSEESFrankie and the Witchfingers, supporting Jack White, playing SXSWLevitation Festival and Desert Daze and doing multiple successful US tours.

On Guns Out, Iguana Death Cult is exercising self-reflection on multiple levels: by breaking with the more indie-like, art-punk-funk sound of their previous album (Echo Palace, released through Innovative Leisure in 2023), returning to a more ‘in your face’ punchy garage rock style. Tough yet introspective, Guns Out captures a band coming to terms with its own evolution and the turbulent world around it.

Baby Cool returns with NEW ALBUM ‘Infinity Baby’ – Out June 5th!

Greenway Records is proud to announce Infinity Baby, the second album from Baby Cool, the project of songwriter Grace Cuell, arriving June 5th!

For Cuell, songwriting has always been a way to process and understand the world. On Infinity Baby, that instinct takes on a more grounded and reflective tone, exploring the tension between light and darkness, certainty and doubt, and the shifting nature of being human.

Following her debut Earthling on the Road to Self Love, which approached big questions with a sense of curiosity and openness, Infinity Baby leans into a more direct and unguarded perspective. The record moves through feelings of longing, disillusionment, tenderness and release, tracing cycles of thought and behavior – the habits we inherit, the ones we fall back into, and the ones we consciously carry forward.

The album was created with collaboration with producer Samuel Joseph (King Gizzard, Family Jordan), recorded among the landscapes of the Northern Rivers. That setting leaves a clear imprint on the music, with Baby Cool continuing to weave together elements of psychedelia, folk, and kraut-pop into something spacious and immersive.

Each track captures a different facet of this internal landscape – the fragile sense of optimism, the monotony of daily routines and the quiet hope for change, the pressure of trying to make every moment meaningful, the attachment to our ideas and how they shape our imagination. The titular track, “Infinity Baby,” is the emotional center of the album that speaks on a fear of endlessness. Offering a sense of comfort to listeners rather than resistance.

Infinity Baby is out June 5th.

Welcome Seattle’s SEMISOFT – new 7″ out now!

Semisoft sounds like rain on tape — soaked in reverb, frayed at the edges, and crackling with energy just beneath the surface. The Tacoma trio brings a distinctly Northwest take on post-grunge: hypnotic and unafraid to get weird. Their debut 7” on Greenway Records is a twilight burner, equal parts spacey and searing.

Semisoft Greenway Record

The A-side “Alone” is a vinyl-only trance — slow-building and fuzz-saturated, made to be played loud on foggy nights. It’s the kind of track that feels pulled from a lost cassette in a basement box labeled Fall ‘97. The band balances atmosphere and aggression with a natural touch — fans of Fuzz and early PJ Harvey take note.

Semisoft is entering a new era — louder, sharper, and more locked-in than ever. Orders ship October 10th. Catch them this Fall as they roll through the West in support of the release. No frills, no filler — just volume and vision.

Welcome STRANGE LOT to the Greenway Family!

STRANGE LOT began as the bedroom project of singer/guitarist Dominic Mena in Phoenix before relocating to Austin, TX in 2019. The band has since evolved into its current lineup: Dominic Mena, Tim Lormor, Levi Murray on bass, and Jordan Fitzpatrick on synthesizer and guitar.

Their Greenway Records debut 7” features tracks produced by Alex Maas (@alexmaas33) of The Black Angels, mixed by Jim Eno (@jimenoacid) of Spoon and Dave Fridmann, and mastered by Howie Weinberg.

After touring with Boogarins in 2024, the band capped the year with a performance on the headlining stage at Austin’s Levitation Festival alongside The Black Angels. 2025 has brought an official appearance at SXSW, a headlining spring tour, and the release of this 7” single – marking the first glimpse into the next chapter of their immersive, psychedelic soundscapes.

Welcome Iguana Death Cult to the GWY Galaxy!

Rotterdam’s Iguana Death Cult has never been easy to pin down—and they’ve never wanted to be. Since erupting out of the Dutch underground in 2014, the band has turned garage rock inside out, fusing punk urgency with psych weirdness, post-punk groove, and a restless sense of exploration. Over three acclaimed records (The First Stirrings of Hideous Insect Life, Nude Casino, Echo Palace) and countless sweat-drenched shows, they’ve carved out a sound that’s as unpredictable as it is undeniable.

Their upcoming single, “I Like It, It’s Nice,” drops August 2nd via Greenway Records on 7” vinyl, with a mind-bending remix by Frankie and the Witch Fingers on the B-side. It’s the first taste of a new era: more intense, more acidic, and more unhinged.

Iguana Death Cult in 2025 is a band reborn—burned down and rebuilt with the same reckless spirit, but new tools, new blood, and a global audience that keeps growing louder.

We’ve got this limited 7″ pressed on ‘It’s Nice’ Neon-Striped Vinyl – Only 107 hand-numbered copies
